In this work, Mohamad Sadegh Mousavi-Kiasary and colleagues highlight how nanoparticle-based systems can enhance cancer treatment by enabling targeted delivery, controlled release, and tumor-specific accumulation. The review explores innovative multimodal strategies, such as chemo-phototherapy, chemo-immunotherapy, and gene-radiotherapy, that show great promise in improving efficacy while reducing side effects.
